Simple scoring patterns are the most common elements used to give definition to stained concrete surfaces.   Scoring may be of any pattern size, on diagonal or square to the room, or may be bordered for definition.

Scoring can be done before or after framing.  Choose 'before' for a single pattern size to run continuously through walls.  Choose 'after' for customizing patterns to room size.

Bordering allows us to change the pattern size from area to area.  This is especially helpful in creating areas within a room, or in sizing down a pattern to fit a smaller space.
