Inlays:
Add textural or color elements to the stained flooring by
cutting in a design, then filling with tile, stone, grout or icon. In this case, rough-hewn granite strips were floated
into channels cut into the floor. |

Overlays:
In most remodel situations, stained concrete is not an option due to
concrete that is damaged by prior construction. During the remodel
of the L. B. J. Ranch, it was found that three different slabs made up
the area, and that all were contaminated with glue and paint. We
prepared the existing concrete, applied a thin, stainable layer of new
cement, then stained and sealed the floor. |

Countertops:
Concrete countertops are nothing new; we've spoken to old timers who had
them in the oil boom days of West Texas. They fit well with the
new industrial decor, as well as Texas ranch style homes.
Countertops can be left natural, as shown, or can be colored or
stained. We use a three-step sealing process to provide a durable,
sanitary kitchen surface you can be proud of. |

Tubs: Not
something we do every day, but we want to emphasize that we'll work to
meet your needs and make your dreams come true. This home is a
union of five different hundred-year-old-plus structures collected and
shipped to a Fredericksburg ranch. After completing the floors, we
tackled the tub, the object being to give the appearance of its being
contiguous with the slab. We're pretty happy with the results. |
